Q&A: Does everything have to do with “ramming something down someones throat” with conservatives?

Question by Cons, u kno u like it.: Does everything have to do with “ramming something down someones throat” with conservatives?
It sure seems that way, healthcare = ramming it down our throats, gay marriage = ramming it down our throats, taxes = ramming it down our throats, “indoctrination” = ramming it down our throats…Is it about time they come up with a new phrase, or do they just happen to like that description of “ramming it down someone’s throat”?

Q&A: How are “weeks of pregnancy” calculated?

Question by yavanna: How are “weeks of pregnancy” calculated?
I am pregnant and just love looking at development information on websites. If I am 4 weeks, 6 days along, should I look at the “fifth week” because I’m in my fifth week, or do I not look at that until I am at or over five weeks in? Some sites have told me “I’m at four weeks” and others five weeks so, maybe it depends on the site.

It’s like the difference between how Korea and the US calculate birthdays!

Best answer:

Answer by Mom of 1 and 2nd coming August 4th
If you are 4 weeks 6 days, then you have completed 4 weeks and are working on completing your 5th. Most sites I have been too will say “you are 5 weeks or in your 6th if that’s how you count it” I just say the amount of weeks I actually have completed and days, You would look at 4 weeks on sites though since you have only completed that much, you look at 5 weeks tomorrow once you completed 5 weeks. Good luck and Congrats

Add- Sorry I misread some of the question, I edited it to actually answer your question.

Great Information For Morning Sickness, December 5, 2011
This review is from: Morning Sickness Remedies : Symptoms and Natural Remedies for Pregnancy Sickness (Kindle Edition)

Useful information in an easy to read format. A lot of this backed up information I found elsewhere so was good to get confirmation on a few things. Author mentions several alternative therapies such as homeopathy only to dismess them as “no more effective than a placebo” but the remedies she does recommend sound good.

Great product but only .5 oz not 5 oz, December 29, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
This review is from: ALBA ACNEdote Invisible Treatment Gel, 0.5-Ounces (Misc.)

Best salicylic acid product I’ve used. Ordered from amazon thinking I would get the listed 5 oz and when it arrived I saw it was .5 oz. Just a heads up to everyone else interested. Great product with good ingredients besides the typographical error.

It works!, October 14, 2010
This review is from: ALBA ACNEdote Invisible Treatment Gel, 0.5-Ounces (Misc.)

This gel really works. As an adult w/acne I can’t find anything that works for me. Used product last night and it really worked. My pimples aren’t completely gone but they are about more than half way gone. I’m very happy with this product.

i have a small problem with acne which is why i decdied to give this a try.

I have been using it for about a month every night and i have seen less pimples. I also found out it works great as an aftershave for ingrown hairs and such. I have since started using it after shaving and rarely get irritated skin or ingrown hairs on my neck or face. Overall definitely worth a try.

While You Diet: The Skinny on Reducing Your Risk of Heart Disease and Stroke

While You Diet: The Skinny on Reducing Your Risk of Heart Disease and Stroke

Who needs another diet? Another fad to drop twenty pounds in ten days; starvation, deprivation, and bold promises? North Americans have been killing themselves for the sake of getting thin for decades. Literally. But the critical issue is this: heart disease reigns supreme as the number one killer of both men and women around the world. Diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, heart attack and stroke—each directly connected to obesity and our punishing lifestyles. We don’t need another diet book. We need a wake-up call about health.
While You Diet: The Skinny on Reducing Your Risk of Heart Disease and Stroke by Dr. Theodore Fenske takes a completely different approach to weight management. As a cardiovascular specialist, professor, lecturer and patient advocate, Dr. Fenske knows just how important it is to take care of our hearts. And he knows his patients are sick to death of dieting.
Instead of a harsh regime of strict food regulation to get you into those jeans faster, While You Diet walks the reader through a full twenty-four day with suggestions, solid science-based explanations, and very persuasive arguments for why making changes in your lifestyle is both necessary and achievable. Woven through the text is the ongoing story of Marion, a typical patient, as she undergoes the transformation from an overweight middle-aged woman in imminent danger of her first, and possibly last, heart attack to a lighter, healthier version of her best self. By the end of this engaging, informative, and lighthearted read, gone are Marion’s excuses, her hesitations, and her overwhelming belief that heart disease is unavoidable—and so will yours! Join Marion today, While You Diet.
