While visiting my niece a month ago, I saw that she had one of these, actually an older version with only one pneumatic wheel. After three days of using her’s, I was already beginning to feel the results. Within a week, that little area right below the sternum, where the left and right ribs join, was getting firmer. When I returned home, I searched this out on Amazon and bought it. They have improved this since my niece bought hers by replacing the one wheel with four wheels, so you don’t find yourself leaning to the right or left as you use it, thus the possibility of straining one of your pecs. What is really great is that not only do your abs bet a workout, but your back does, too, so there is a balance in the development of your upper torso muscles. My only suggestion is that you go easy with it. You’ll start feeling results right away, and you start seeing results in a matter of days, at least I did, but, like anything, you can overdo it.

Is there anything I can do to tone my hamstrings without going to the gym or using exercise equipment? My legs are toned, but I want to work on my hamstrings a little more. I don’t have the resources to go to a gym, and buying equipment is out of the question. Any help here?

I think you should try the P90x. It is the best out there. You dont need a gym. The company is beachbody. It is 13 dvd and it is a 90day program. Dont waste your money on these equipments that take up space. P90X or Insanity. They are dvds trust me you will thank me. It gets the best ratings. Fast results

I have an old DP Fitness for Life Air Strider. I call it a stand up bicycle, since their is no seat. On it, my feet go around in a pedal motion. For my arms, I hold on to two levers (handles) that go back and forth and enable my arms to make the same motion I would make if I was running. The whole exercise seems equivalent to jogging without the impact that you would get on the ground. I really liked this machine, but it is now worn out. What do they call this kind of exercise equipment today? Where can I get a good deal, possibly factory refurbished? Thanks!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this exercise machine since it only cost 5. It is super sturdy and very well made. Its weight is pretty heavy and is equivalant to any exercise machine you would use at a professional gym. Having the dual trainer as a bike and a stepper/walker takes up half the space of 2 separate machines. I highly recommend it!

I saw a few complaints about adjusting the length of this rope. However, I had no issues pulling the caps off the end of the handles and did so by hand. Then I measured the length I needed – to measure a jump rope correctly, stand on the middle of the rope with both feet. The ends should come up to your armpits. There were two extra crimp bands included, so I just cut off the extra length, used a pair of small pliers to crimp the new band in place, and put the cap back on. I recommend you use a rubber band wrapped around where you think you need the crimp band first, try jumping with it for a few rotations, then put the crimp band on where the rubber band was. Too easy.

Yes, it’s a decent speed rope for the money and yes, it’s extremely frustrating to adjust. For me, the problem wasn’t so much in getting the metal cap off (easily done with a simple, sturdy flathead screwdriver pinned in the center of the tab) nor was it in actually adjusting the length of the rope. The problem was in getting the tab back in the handle. The cylindrical metal tab has to be snug in the handle lest it fly off during your excercise, but OH MYYY!!!, getting it back in requires an incredible and equal amount of pressure on all sides at the same time. I spent almost an hour before I finally got lucky and was able to push it back in. Good luck!! As for the review concerning knots, I can see how they might prove to be cumbersome with the hindering of the motion of the rope. However, I’m not sure why anyone would want to tie knots in the first place. Just cut away the excess rope. Now that my frustration is gone and my rope is fixed, it does a great job.

I have to agree with the other reviewers here- it’s a great speed rope, but it’s not easily adjustable. You have to remove a cap, tie a knot around the ends, then slide it back in. Fortunately, I’m 6′1″, so I didn’t need to adjust the rope! Not long enough for people taller than 6′3″ in my opinion. |

I will be brief. If you don’t have a bowflex …. try this. Is cheaper and it works under the same principles. And I want something for crunches and stuff but I don’t know what to buy for that.
